Today, we welcome another Brother of mine to the HQ. However, it's a little different today as I first met him when he was already an alumni who was deep into his career. Our guest is a great representation of hard work en la Frontera. Growing up on the other side of the border in Mexico, he experienced the journey that was crossing into the states for a university education. It is a unique experience for most, but in El Paso, it's something that we see quite often with our special geography. It doesn't make the journey any easier, however. Yet immediately, he nurtured an avenue of serving others and fostering collaboration. Since his education, he's evolved this passion on an international scale. Moving his way from DC to Spain to Mexico while adjusting to changing cultures and policies fine tuned him into understanding what it means to create meaningful and long lasting collaborations across nations. Today, he oversees this for that same university that provided him so much opportunity. [The University of Texas at El Paso] And from what we get to hear in this conversation, the opportunities are STILL continuing to grow rapidly. Ladies and gentlemen, without further ado, live at the HQ… we welcome ARTURO BARRIO.
