Emmeff Pearl presents our first Midnight Sessions Special. Also recognized as Episode XXXIV. What makes this episode our first "special" is simple. We invited a live audience to experience the magic of Midnight for the first time with us. Our friends of El Paso and Juarez all came together to celebrate the vinyl release of DAMALEONA, the third album by none other than Vanessa Zamora. This was our second time getting the opportunity to work with Vanessa and her team to produce a Midnight Session. Here, we experience a more stripped back rendition of the album, with a much darker backdrop to accompany the performance. Vanessa guides us through three acts of DAMALEONA, going between piano and guitar throughout the setlist. As we navigate through the session, we are able to understand what went behind each song's creation, as Vanessa shares the meanings behind the tracks and allows us a deeper look into her songwriting. As an audience, we leave here understanding, through her eyes, what it means to accept your emotions and embrace the different lives you live. This is the magic of Midnight Sessions.
